1955 Chevrolet Cameo
Although the 1955 Chevrolet Cameo Carrier was never a hot seller, largely because of its high price, it was of crucial importance, bringing passenger-car styling elements into the truck world for the first time in a serious way. This particular truck has only had 3 owners since new and has spent its entire life in the dry climates of California and New Mexico. The current owner has owned it since 1992. This truck is mostly original with one repaint which was done 30 years ago and the interior was re-upholstered correctly 10 years ago. It's powered by its original 235 inline 6 and 3 speed transmission which were rebuilt 13,000 miles ago along with the clutch. All of the panels on this truck are original and still in great shape! This truck is optioned with brand new NOS hubcaps, dual spotlights, new digital am/fm radio, bumper guards, ultra rare hood ornament, compass, sun visor and new Silvertown white wall tires.
