1934 Ford Cabriolet Convertible: VIN # 18914585 “RESTO-ROD”
Black Exterior, Tan Interior & Rumble Seat, Tan Top
“ALL STEEL” Henry Ford Steel Body, Fenders, Hood etc. This car was original, but put in a barn around 1950 – found in 1980’s. It’s a great Street Rod that was built from a very nice original car, have multiple photos of it as it came out of barn and hauled away. It was powered with a tuned port Chevy V-8 from a 86 Camaro Iroc Z and a 700-R4 Transmission, has Heidts crossmember up front with Mustang II Suspension and a Flaming River Rack & Pinion. The differential is a GM 10-Bolt with a GM triangulated 4-link Suspension for a smooth quiet ride. It has all the goodies such as Air Conditioning, AM-FM Radio (controlled by the original ash tray radio head in dash), Disc Brakes, Gennie Shifter, Classic Instruments, Walker Radiator, Coated Headers with Stainless Steel Exhaust, Stainless Steel Bumpers, McLean Wire Spoke Chrome Wheels, V-8 Shop Running Boards, GM Tilt Column with an original 39’ Banjo Steering Wheel, Cruise Control, Tinted Glass & a beautiful triple pin stripe by Jake. The brown interior and tan top are by LeBaron Bonney & the 33 Dash and Door Moldings beautifully wood grained by the late Benny Estes. Top Irons and header panel are chrome plated. The history of this car is known back to 1950’s. It has been driven 20,591 miles since built & gets 20 mpg. It was driven from Dallas, TX to Reno, NV for Hot August Nights. This is the perfect tour car --- fold the top down and have a convertible or top up/windows up and turn the A/C on.
