1939 Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Touring Berlinetta
In 1939 the new 6C 2500 models came out to replace the old 6C 2300B. The 6C 2500 was similar to the previous type, but had a higher performance with increased horsepower (95 bhp) and better gearing for a higher top speed. The Turismo model was produced in two versions both on a 128 inch wheelbase chassis. All the sport type had a 5-seat body manufactured by outside coachbuilders and mounted on a 118 inch wheelbase chassis. This magnificent vehicle was fully restored and was a Pebble Beach winner of the european class and won most elegant closed car in 1998.
