This car was delivered new in 1934 to Colonel Harry Day of Farraday House, Charing Cross, London and Windovers had been commissioned to build the magnificent Sedanca de Ville coachwork. The restoration was started in 1982 and was finally completed in 1999. The culmination of the restoration saw the car presented at the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club Annual Rally at Collesbrooke, UK in 1999 and Towcester, UK in 2000, these events being the largest European gatherings of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. 11RY was a Concours Award Winner both years and First in Elegance.
