The original 427 Cobra was purely a racing machine built for speed, driver comfort was not a primary concern. This replica was built by Classic Roadsters ltd. in Fargo, ND specifically designed for driver compatibility. By extending the wheelbase and slightly increasing the width, the driver has much more leg and shoulder room for greater comfort and control. This car was first sold on November 5, 1990. This car is powered by a 351 Windsor and an automatic transmission. Optioned with rack and pinion power steering, power disc brakes in front, drum brakes in rear, Edlebrock intake manifold and 4 barrel carburetor, MSD ignition, Cobra air cleaner, headers and functioning side pipes, cooling fan, B&M shifter, 4 wheel coil suspension, front and rear sway bars, authentic style chrome bumperettes, VDO gauges, chrome roll bar, vinyl bucket seats, Simpson racing lap belts, GT Grant steering wheel, Auto-meter tach with shift light, LeMans fuel cap, polished wheels, P235/60/R15 front, P275/60/R15 rear, Sony cassette deck, Kenwood speakers and was freshly painted in 1998. The odometer is currently showing 2,362 miles.
