1953 CHEVROLET CORVETTE

1953 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster
Chassis Number: E53F001127
The first model was designed by Harley Earl and introduced at the GM Motorama in 1953. Myron Scott is credited for naming the car after the Corvette, a small, maneuverable warship. 300 hand-built polo white Corvette convertibles were produced for the 1953 model year, making it the rarest and one of the most sought after of all Corvettes. Powered by its original "Blue Flame" inline-6 engine and automatic transmission, this first year Corvette has had a complete nut and bolt restoration and has only traveled 155 miles since!
