1938 HUPMOBILE SERIES 822-E SEDAN

1938 Hupmobile 822-E Sedan
Chassis Number: E72049
Formerly of the Tate Auto Museum and Rich Atwell Collection.
Robert Craig Hupp, a former employee of Oldsmobile and Ford, founded the Hupmobile Company with his brother Louis in 1908 in Detroit, Michigan. Despite numerous challenges through the years, the Hupmobile was produced until 1940. This 1938 822-E Sedan is totally original with the exception of one older repaint and is still powered by its original 245 cubic inch straight six motor and three speed manual transmission.
