1912 MITCHELL MODEL 2-6 60HP RUNABOUT

1912 Mitchell Model 2-6 Runabout
"Only one in Existence"
60 hp - Six Cylinder
Chassis # 1205
2004 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elgance Class Award Winner
This ultra rare Mitchell runabout is believed to be the only surviving six cylinder runabout in existence. It sits on a 125" wheelbase, and has a track of 56". The power comes from a large six cylinder, L-head engine that produces 60 hp. Coupled to a three speed gearbox, this car can obtain a high rate of speed. Some of the standard equipment that came on these early cars was a top, five lamps, a gas acetylene generator for the lights, tools, and a jack. The car was restored around 2003 and was first shown at the 2004 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, where is won a class award! Here is the perfect opportunity to own an early brass-era car with a high horse power engine. Here is a great car for Tours and shows.
