1964 CHEVROLET CHEVROLET BISCAYNE 409/425 2-DOOR POST
1964 Chevrolet Biscayne 409/425
1,000 Original Miles!
409 cubic inch engine with 425 Horsepower!
Won Super Chevy National In 1989.
In 1964 drag racing was in full force in America and Chevrolet responded with its top engine, the 409 cubic inch 425 horsepower beast. This 409/425 Biscayne was custom ordered to be as light as possible with a 6000 RPM tachometer, 4 speed manual transmission and with deleted radio, heater, power steering, power brakes, windshield washer and only "dog dish" hubcaps. Formerly owned by "Mr. October", Reggie Jackson it also won the Super Chevy National in 1989. Last but not least this car has only 1000 original documented miles since new! A comparable car with this super low mileage would be almost impossible to find.
