1948 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE COUNTRY CLUB COUPE

1948 Chevrolet Fleetline Country Club Coupe
This is a California car with many rare options including the scarce $1200 Country Club Woody option, exterior sun visor, front and rear bumper guards with correct extensions, deluxe steering wheel, remote spare tire air pressure monitor, radio, heater and full fender skirts. This car was previously owned by Jim Maloney who was the author of the Encyclopedia of American Cars 1946-1959. The vehicle is largely unrestored and both paint and interior appear original as does the spare tire. The odometer reads 41,821 and the overall condition of the car supports that mileage, and the 216.5 cubic inch 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission perform flawlessly. One of the rarest and most interesting “Woodies” of the period, these striking Chevrolet Country Club fastback sedanettes are both desirable and attractive. This example may be the finest unrestored in existence!
