1940 FORD V-8 DELUXE CONVERTIBLE

1940 FORD V-8 DELUXE CONVERTIBLE
BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED EXAMPLE!
Ford's only totally new body for 1940 was the convertible coupe. The car featured a 5-passenger body, built at the Lincoln plant. Also totally new for the year was Ford's first automatic top, sealed beam headlights and a new column mounted shift lever. Powered by its L- head V-8, many have described this model as the best looking of the traditional Ford design. This particular car has had an extensive and correct restoration and has traveled only 539 miles since. This beauty is ready for show or go!
