Pace Car Convertible
The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z11 RS/SS Indianapolis 500 pace car with original 350cid/300hp engine along with Turbo 400 automatic transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear. Autographed by Mario Andretti, the winner of the 1969 Indianapolis 500. This is a great piece of history. This car has the proper numbers and Cowl Tag Plate to verify it as an original pace car. It is 1 of 3,675 produced under the production pace car code, Z11. It was built at the Norwood, Ohio, plant in the 4th week of February 1969, the same time as those used at the race. Indy Sport Convertible accents, Rally Sport equipment including vacuum operated head light covers, Camaro Super Sport equipment, Dover White exterior code, custom interior with orange houndstooth seats, Air-Induction hood, rally wheels, spoiler, floor console gauge package, in-dash 7,000 RPM tachometer, orange rally stripes, orange side pin striping, SS steering wheel, air conditioning and less than 42,000 original miles. A great piece of Camaro & Indy history.
